DCFA Launches #DCFAmycity Project
The Dallas Center for Architecture is proud and honored to have been selected as one of 50 non-profit organizations to receive a grant from NorthPark as part of their 50th anniversary 50 Days of Giving program. Through their generosity, DCFAlaunched the #DCFAmycity Photography Project.
#DCFAmycity is an exploration of how people—especially students—interpret their neighborhoods, city and environments visually, and how they capture those images photographically. DCFA will distribute cameras to students of all ages across the area and ask them to photograph the city around them. These images can be from a broad perspective or of the smallest details. They can be of buildings certainly, but also landscapes and infrastructure. The photos will be developed and made a part of an image mosaic at the Center.
And YOU are encouraged to participate as well. Tag your photos #DCFAmycity and post them on Twitter and Instagram or e-mail them to info@DallasCFA.com. We’ll select some from those feeds to include on the #DCFAmycity wall here at the Center.
We thank NorthPark for their generosity and look forward to seeing how you see the world around you with #DCFAmycity.
