AT&T Performing Arts Center Review Recap

The word is in...and in...and in on the architecture of the new AT&T Performing Arts Center.  Most of the reviews have good things to say, with many pointing out the yin and yang counterpoint of the lipstick-red Winspear and the Wyly "theater machine."  Several also point out the work still necessary to make the Arts District a truly vital neighborhood.  Here's a digest of the ones we've found.

The Dallas Morning News split reviewing duties with David Dillon taking on the Winspear and Scott Cantrell providing his report on the Winspear.  Meanwhile, the paper on the other side of the Trinity published  

The Wall Street Journal has this article by local Willard Spiegelman. And The Los Angeles Times has this to say.

The New York Times has a couple of articles: the "official" review and this one putting the Arts Center in a larger national and chronological context. Newsweek takes a similar big-picture approach.
