2012 Architecture Film Series Kicks Off with Film on Frank Lloyd Wright Restoration
We have great films on the horizon for our Architecture Film Series in 2012, including several Dallas premieres! To kick things off, we'll screen an interesting documentary on the restoration of a Frank Lloyd Wright icon in Oak Park Illinois.

Looking Forward While Looking Back....
The study of architecture is always a balancing act. How do you concentrate on looking forward to what your city can become in the future while still celebrating architectural legacy? Our just-closed exhibition Context/Contrast did just that by examining new architecture in historic districts. With examples from New York (the show’s origination point) and our own fair city, it was an interesting look at how communities can transform themselves without destroying their past. Two events in the past week accomplished the same thing. Read on for more...
