We’ll admit that not all of today’s entries are strictlyarchitecturally related.  But, theenvironment is a much bigger story after all. To give context and put us in the mood, here is aGREAT timeline in The New York Times ofenvironmental milestones over the last 7 decades.

Greenest thing we know? That great deck park (AKA our front lawn) being built over WoodallRodgers.  The model is now on permanentdisplay here at the Center.  Come visitit, and us.  In the meantime, here’sthe story on Unfair Park.

And, finally, are trees architectural?  We’re going to say “yes” so we can post thisfascinating look at the oldest trees in the world.  They’ve survived.  Now, can we PLEASE work at preserving thegreat buildings around us?  Even if theyare “just” a few decades old like this one.
