Dallas Architecture Forum Announces 2009-2010 Lecture Series

The Dallas Architecture Forum has announced its 2009-2010 Lecture Series.  As always, the Forum will bring in some of the heaviest hitters in the architectural and design world.  This year, standouts include Rem Koolhaas, Lord Norman Foster and Joshua Prince-Ramus.  All were involved in the soon-to-be-completed Dallas Center for the Performing Arts and will speak as a part of the Center’s opening festivities in October.

The series also includes an October screening of Visual Acoustics: The Modernism of Julius Shulman, an award-winning documentary on the photographer, who passed away in July.  Director Eric Bricker will attend.

Other highlights include Christy MacLear, Executive Director of Philip Johnson’s “Glass House” and internationally-recognized architect Rafael Vinoly.

Still to come are announcements on the Forum’s symposia and panel series.  For more details on all the Forum’s great activities, visit their website here.
